Questions people ask first
Straight answers. If yours is not here, book a call and ask.
I have coverage through work. Is that not enough?
Group coverage is usually one to two times your salary and it stays behind when you leave the job. It is a good start. It is rarely enough to clear a mortgage and raise children.
How much life insurance do I actually need?
Enough to pay off what you owe and replace your income for the years your family depends on it. For most households that lands between ten and fifteen times annual income, sized down as debts shrink. We work it out with you in ten minutes.
Do I need travel insurance for a weekend in the United States?
Yes. Provincial plans pay a small fraction of foreign hospital bills. A short trip costs a few dollars a day to cover, and the quote above takes under a minute.
What is critical illness insurance for?
It pays a lump sum if you are diagnosed with a covered condition such as cancer, a heart attack, or a stroke. The money is yours to use: time off, treatment travel, paying the mortgage while you recover.
How are you paid?
By the insurance carriers when a policy is placed. Your premium is the same whether you buy through us or go direct. Some products pay us more than others. Ask what we earn on any recommendation and we will tell you.
